Food Wastage Application
About the Project
This Food Waste Management service can assist in collecting the leftover food from single users and restaurants to distribute among those in need. This project is used to manage waste foods in a useful way. Every day people are wasting lots of food. So we have to reduce the food wastage problem online. If anyone has wastage foods they are entering their food quantity details and their address in that application and then the admin maintain the details of the food donor.
The donor can create the account and whenever they are having waste food they can login and give a request to the admin. And the admin also maintains the buyer(orphanage, old age home, etc,..) details too. After the admin views the donor request and gives the alert message like time to come and collect the food. And the admin collects food from the donor through their nearby agent and then provide it to the nearest orphanages, and old-age home. After receiving the food from the agent by admin and give an alert message to that donor.
If the donor needs any detail about the orphanage with helping thought they can give a request to the admin and collect the orphanage details. This project is food redistribution an enormously successful social innovation that tackles food waste and food poverty. The user’s details are maintained confidential because it maintains a separate account for each user. This is the interface first provided to the users they can put a request to give their waste food to the needy people who don’t have proper food available due to many reasons. Users enjoy the function at the places and they are left with food which they make a request through this interface to fill the details of the area where they are and the details of the food remain.
Users’ information has to be compelled to be registered within the system thus establishing every one of them unambiguously and doing the required group action as simple potential. Like on the name of the bill are issued. On the far side, this plenty of things require measure there wherever we will reference him.
Without registration, there are a few options and pages one user can see which are landing on the home page and taking the features to read but he won’t be allowed to use those. For use, he will have to register. One person needs to put all the details properly and precisely as it will be helpful in identifying them and believing that he is the real person who has booked for the same.
After registration one will log within the system because the operator of the system either on the behalf of the user. when this he has the opposite helpful interfaces accessible for any actions. Here either bride or groom both have to log in with their unique identity and passwords. After this, they will be directed to the main user interface from where they have further options.
Existing System:
Many people tend to throw the leftover food at the end of the day even though the food is perfectly fine to be eaten, which means that huge amounts of food are wasted. While all that food is being wasted, some families can barely afford proper meals with their limited money. They don’t get enough nutrition due to the lack of having three meals in a day.
Therefore, we decided to create our application to link the public with the unfortunate people, so instead of throwing the food, the unfortunate will be able to pick it up from the the food donor at the end of the day.

Django web application technology is beneficial for food waste management. The application aims to encourage better food management. Our proposed solution should reduce food wastage by facilitating food sharing in Indian community using mobile technology. This work is an initial step toward designing a better system to reduce daily food waste. In the future, this web app could be enhanced more by adding the following features:
· Extending our web app to have many types of donating users either from organizations such as restaurants, or a family or single uses
· Adding the address facility to our web apps. The donating user should specify the address of the shared food.
· Adding the time and date of each meal shared by users
